Opinion: Need To Re-visit The ‘Kangaroo Screening’ Done in Kogi State

My name is Oni Adetutu from Yagba West Local Government of the State. I am one of the few, as a student, that knew His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello during his primary election campaign. He lost to be a winner yet again.

I am not against Gov Yahaya Bello administration’s efforts to remove the ghost workers in the state which has over-burden the wage bill. But after the screening, a whole visible school in the LGA headquarters and all its staffs are considered as ghost workers including my mum! And several anomalies in the screening reports.

My mum and several able civil servants has been working for the state before I was born yet none of their entitlement was given to them. How do you want them to feed and carter for their children? They seems forgotten, that is why I want to reach the meaningful Nigerians to intervene.

The screening exercise is below standard and has cost many their lives.
People of Kogi state and His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello, please do something! My people are suffering!
Thanks

Oni Adetutu
