2019: Group Begs Ibrahim Idris To Join Kogi Guber Race

A political group, Kogi Will  Rise Again (KWRA) is canvassing support for Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris  in the 2019 governorship election in Kogi  state.

Specifically, the group said the sufferings of the people of Kogi State would be a thing of the past if the political leadership of Kogi state would press on Alh. Abubakar Ibrahim Idris to contest and win the election.

The group in a statement signed by its Chairman, Usman Yahaya and Secretary, Owolabi Matins Arokoyo, described Alh. Abubakar Idris as a a leader who has knack for governance having had an experience of how good governance and welfare program runs.

The group appealed to Alh Abubakar to accept the call to run as the next governor of the state, disclosing that his magic wand, experience and exposure are the reasons why he is most sought after.
According to the group Kogi state is now going through a challenging experienced, pointed out that the state has retrogressed, but has the capacity to bounce back if Alh. Abubakar becomes governor.
Part of the statement reads, “we join millions of other Kogi State indigenes who are yearning that you contest the next governorship election. We came up with this conclusion after a painstaking perusal of your past antecedents. We have no doubt in our mind that Kogi will regain it lost glory under your leadership.
“While the hopes and aspiration of our teeming populace is hinged on you, your acceptance to run would keep many hopes and confidence alive as we are optimistic that your pedigree would rebound back”.
The group called on Kogi people not to be deceived by mundane sentiments in who becomes governor, pointing out that what the people should agitate for is capacity to deliver, a quality Alh Abubakar has in abundance.
