The choice of Comrade Adams Oshiomole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been described as a right step to deepen democratic governance in the country.
This was the submission of Mallam Haruna Yusuf, a foremost aspirant for Kogi Central Senatorial District, immediately after Oshiomhole was elected unopposed as APC National Chairman in Abuja.
Mallam Yusuf who has served Oshiomhole as ADC and Chief Security Officer while the former was the Governor of Edo State said the result of the convention did not come as a surprise to him as a result of impeccable track record of his former boss.

“With the choice of Comrade Oshiomhole as National Chairman, our great party has yet again displayed its belief in internal democracy where level playing ground is assured for all contestants. APC would continue to set unmatchable standard in its quest to rescue the country and recover what has been lost during the reign of the locusts”, he enthused.

While congratulating members of the APC National Convention Committee for the well transparent for which it was conducted, Mall. Yusuf expressed optimism that Oshiomhole would consolidate on the achievements of Chief John Oyegun-Odigie-led National Executives and break more grounds for more electoral victories across the country.

The aspirant consequently called on well-meaning Nigerians to complement the efforts being made by President Muhammadu Buhari to revamp the country through credible and transparent leadership.
